Mayer Farm Equipment was founded in Miamisburg, Ohio, in 1948 by Al Mayer, offering used
equipment
before becoming an Allis Chalmers franchise in the mid-1950s. In 1965, the original location was
sold, and we moved to Fayette County, returning to exclusively used equipment. Company owner
Larry
Mayer opened a new facility in Jeffersonville in 1976 to accommodate our growing business. We
made a
return to new equipment sales in 1985 as a Deutz Allis dealer, and in 2003, we moved again to
our
current facility, which was expanded in 2011.
